Powers of attorney/proxies and notary declarations with or without apostille and authorisations for accompanying minors abroad. Special powers of attorney for buying and selling.

Procure notarili e deleghe

A proxy is a document on plain paper that allows you to appoint a trusted person to carry out various operations on your behalf: collect an identity document, send a registered letter, register a car, request a duplicate, renew a certificate, etc.

In order for the authorisation to be valid, it is necessary to provide the details of the delegating party and the delegated party (name, surname, tax code, personal number code, etc.).

In addition, the transaction to be delegated must be specified, signed by the delegating party and accompanied by a copy of his/her identity document.

The proxy is then signed before a notary public, with whom we have worked for many years, who signs and stamps it, thus making your power of attorney legal in all respects. Powers of attorney can be general or specific, depending on whether they are granted for the performance of unspecified activities or for the performance of specific tasks.

  • General power of attorney: by this act, the person concerned entrusts the representative with the management of all his affairs, both present and future. The general power of attorney is granted for an indefinite period and is effective until revoked;

  • Special power of attorney: by this document, the person concerned entrusts the representative with the management of a specific part of his/her affairs. The special power of attorney ceases to have effect when the particular assignment for which it was granted comes to an end, or is valid for a maximum of three years.

Modalities for the use of powers of attorney and revocation

The person who has granted a power of attorney may revoke it at any time, unless the document states that the power of attorney is irrevocable. The revocation may concern a power of attorney issued at the consulate of the district where the interested party resides, at other consulates or at an Italian notary. In order to revoke a power of attorney, the interested party must appear at the Notary’s office with a copy of the power of attorney that he wishes to revoke or, failing that, with all the essential data of the power of attorney (e.g. the Consulate or Notary who intervened in the act, the date of issue, the repertory number, the agent’s full personal data). The interested party must, on his own behalf, send the revocation to the revoked agent and to the Italian notary where the revoked power of attorney was deposited.
